What bean to cup coffee machine?

I’m in my new house and have a lot more kitchen space to work with. I love a proper cup of coffee and quite frankly, I’m frustrated with drinking cheap instant rubbish.
I want a bean to cup machine and I’m excited at trying out different beans. My other half doesn’t drink coffee so I don’t need one that fills a pot. We have a black Delonghi kettle and toaster but it doesn’t have to be black or Delonghi. So, the criteria is…
Automatic as I’m no barista and hate reading instruction manuals
Something that I can do one or two cups (when my coffee loving mate is over)
Option for espresso/long espresso as well as normal cup
Not too fussed on all the milky/frothy options although if it has them, fine
Budget £200 - £300 although slightly more if I’m being unrealistic

On special the moment, we have one of these in the office, it's been reliably supplying 20+ people with coffee for 2 years and is still going strong. Makes a decent cup of coffee with the cheapish beans they buy here so I'd expect to be pretty good on the right beans.
However if it's just you drinking it you might want to look at a decent grinder and an aeropress.

I've just been reading up on this after a visit to the amazon site. Looks a good price too!

for the cooking spec delonghi.
Had ours must be 2 or 3 years now and gets used every day. Convenience/result can't be beaten for the price. Generally both knobs turned fully up for an instant three-quarter mug of strong long black and yet to have a coffee-loving visitor not comment on how fab it is.

Just bought one of these as I love my gadgets.

I confess if we rent a gite or cottage we try to take it with us - it's that good!

Really impressed - super hot coffee (as in red hot), lot's of customisation and produces consistent results.

The difference between the top of the range one and the mid range is massive in terms of speed and noise. Top of the rave is way quieter and faster. I do not need to upgrade.

The cheaper one only does auto cappuccino. The bigger one does auto latte cappuccino and macchiato. I drink black coffee. . .
Double boilers and stuff, but like a Range Rover vs a Suzuki jeep.
