Registration - Oldest and Newest?

Ok...

We have had the how many and what one is this threads..

There was that S on Ebay a couple of weeks ago with an S2 dash and S3 doors...

But to my Knowledge we haven't had an AGE analysis..

So.. Get out your V5's and have a check on the registration date.

Oldest and newest S1, S1.5, S2, S3, S3c, S4, V8S..

There were surely overlaps between the models, TVR used to put whatever parts on whatever chassis they had in at the time as far as I can tell.

I'll Start..

S3 (not a C)

28 September 1992 (K plate)

Mine was also written up as a 1991 "290 S" although it was a V8S.

S2 on F plate registered 28/04/89 2933cc engine, but is a definete s1.5 car.

V5 simply says TVR!

the registered cars by type, I bet there are more
than a thousand in reality

Hi Dangerous..

Thats a very late S3 you have there..

A bit strange we have very late S's and same names..

Dunno if i should say this out loud, but my V8s is a Pre-Cat, but on the Reg book it's a 290s but most importantly it's registered 30-01-1993 !!!

hmmmm, Maybe they got round the CAT requirement by registering it as a 290s ?
