A33 - what did I see?

just heading to work on the M4 Westbound, as I approached the A33, noticed lots of blue lights above the roundabout.
As I got closer, saw a vehicle (armoured car) slightly bigger than a van, blue, with battenburg markings, escorting a dark blue artic, both with blue lights.
I'm intrigued...

A33 is more likely to be Burghfield. That's where they build the bombs.

AWE is where they research and maintain them.

Technically, awe is a company that runs the sites at Aldermaston, Burghfield and couplort. There's loads of info out there about the vehicles the op spotted
