My new '05 Honda S2000
Discussion
After lusting after one of these for the past couple of years and watching their values escalate in frustration, I finally bought myself one last weekend! I drove the car 100 miles back home to Northampton from Gloucestershire via A and B-roads and my cheeks were hurting from smiling so much. Today is the first dry day since I bought it so managed to get the hardtop off and take it for a spin with the roof down and heater on - and finally got around to taking some pictures.
Everything seems to be solid so far, the interior feels brand new and not a single squeak or rattle can be heard. I was looking at a few 2006 cars prior to seeing this one but this one has the cheaper tax and I absolutely love the silver with red/black interior combination. To me it just feels like such a special car, the VTEC is just incredible - I was looking at 987 Boxster Ss too, and while I feel they are possibly better all-round cars, none of them made me smile as much as the S2000. Feels a world away from my other car which I've kept- a 2006 1.4 Grande Punto. I feel like I'm sitting on top of the car every time I go back to it now!
Here's some pics:

Lovely car, quite a step up from a Punto! How reasonable was the insurance?
Let's just say my wallet isn't feeling too happy. I could insure a Boxster S for £600 but the cheapest I could insure the Honda for was £900! But man-maths has deemed that justifiable as the Punto is a third of that to insure and I'm 24 years old.
