It's an official BMW product, on an m5. It's not making it look like something it's not, I'm not sticking a 30 jahre badge on it or whatever. Each to their own eh.

But what is it? Is it an M Power symbol beamed onto the ground from the bottom of your door? How much did such a travesty cost?

I have seen these on other sites, with US owners having installed them. I didn't think they would suit the UK market.

I hope you like it (as you say, each to their own) but I would be looking to park miles from anyone and be very quick exiting my car if I had them installed.

What you now need is a WWII search light at home to project an M symbol into the sky! Batman styley biggrin

Oh gawd, too much M badge! I can't believe that's a dealer fit, it is horrendously naff and smacks of a chavy eBay part that's all the rage on council estate E36's.

Each to their own, but that's a little bit too Halfords for me.

Horrific, I've no idea why anyone would want such a thing. Sorry, OP but that's my honest opinion.

I can understand light projecting onto the floor outside the car so you can see what you're stepping out onto, not sure I'd have picked an M badge to be beamed out though, but if you like it, that's all that matters smile

I did wonder that too, it's going in for its 1200 service soon, will check then.

Sorry you guys aren't keen, I thought it was bit of fun. As for too much m badge, I had my boot one removed when I got the car, I didn't want to advertise what it is, especially to tailgaters etc.
The m badge projects when door is open , only people getting in and out of the car will see it, and it's fun, I like it.

Looks OK to me - better than add-on carbon mirror covers/splitters/etc..

However, they do look to have been installed upside down - unless your name is Will, of course wink

Actually, there is probably a market for something similar that fits in the boot lid, where the number plate lights are mounted.
That could project onto the road behind you.
