I'm just about to cook a stir fry but have no sauce!

I have at hand:-

Stir fry noodles
Chopped veg
Diced chicken breast
Assortment of spices (ginger, oregano, chilli, sesame seed, cumin + others)
Soya source

What spices (and how much) can I chuck in to make something nice?

Chuck some HP or Worcester Sauce in. Also add about half a cupful of water, keeps everything moist.

If you want Singapore style noodles add some curry powder to the oil

If not, just add a bit of chilli at the end and sprinkle sesame over when on the plate.

Plenty of soy sauce.

Whenever I make a stir fry I tend to mix the following into a small cup which I throw in depending on how much sauce i want.

- water
- flour
- sesame oil
- chilli flakes
- soy sauce
- vegetable seasoning
- seasoning.

you can always put in a stock cube or if you have any flavor sachets from noodles you could add that too. For me though the main components for making it taste nice is sesame oil, soy sauce.

Soy sauce and sherry.

Soy sauce and pineapple juice with white wine vinegar is basic sweet and sour sauce.

Mix with cornflower to thicken if needed.
