I don't think this really says anything at all.

So after each race the Sky experts, who know more than you, score each driver.
Then, at the end of the season, the cumulative score is averaged to give an overall season's ranking.
Which should be a very real reflection of each driver's relative merit in the whole season.

But is unlikely to correlate with the confirmation bias and cognitive dissonance of the average fan.

Would make more sense to be an accumulation of air time over the total hours shown and who gets the sponsors logos out there most.
A number drawn from the air by some pundits doesn't seem worth very much.

The experts obviously think that Williams could do better!

With 21 drivers there's only 3 points between top and bottom, and less than 1 point between 2nd and 14th.

I only think the Red Bull drivers and Carlos Sainz are lower in position than I think they should be.
