Anyone else getting myriad 'a word from the editor...' emails pushing various random Haymarket titles? Think this afternoon's was from Goldfish Monthly or whatever...

Really guys, just guarantees I will never buy so please desist smile

Me too - email decided they were spam and I wasn't about to disagree even though they addressed me by my name

Well Anthony Thanks but I'm not much of an F1 fan - more a turn left, straight, turn left, straight fan

Hi everyone well i've looked into it and the central Haymarket marketing team assumed that PHers would be
interested in Xmas sub offers for our motoring titles.

In any case, we have paused this now and in hindsight It would have made more sense to
wrap up all the great great xmas offers in just ONE email from PH.

As much as I didn't like those sort of emails, we (as in the forum members) can't really complain about receiving advertising from the forum since it is a commercial thing.

Overall though, It might not be interesting enough for the general public as such, it's more like a minutes-from-the-last-meeting email.

Prior to the minor re-design of the profile pages, I'm pretty sure there was the option to receive emails or not - but I can no longer find it.

TBH I'd expect a box saying "happy to receive PH stuff" and another saying "sent me generic haymarket spam"

We can considering you're not allowed to send marketing emails without prior consent!

Just about getting fed up with PistonHeads now.
