Looking for some original music for a year end compilation video I have produced for the family. Couldn't find it, so I purchased Adobe's Audition 1.5

Well....

12 minutes after reading the manual (well, cursory glance anyway), this masterpiece was produced on my PC:

www.espritv8.com/images/temp/ErnestM1.wma

(you may have to right click and save if no broadband).

...Is this EVER a great product. Can't wait to try more aggressive music...

...by the way: Me=No music training whatsoever (besides self teaching guitar when I was 14), I just know what I like...

WOW! that sounds like it should be on a classical compilation CD. That really is a lovely piece of music, well done! If I were you I'd make another eleven masterpieces and start selling them!

Martin.

Great track! Unfortunately Mr Pachelbel beat you to it a few centuries ago!

Quite - but it was the mix that I was referring to. I needed a piece, with that tempo, for that exact timeline, with the drums and flourishes at certain places along the line and also the empty spot in the middle with just the piano. It worked out great, as Audition lets you interface with Premier as you are mixing...

'course not - nobody is that good

The great thing is, you can do some original composition with this if you want. The software comes with 5,000 loops where you could set up your music background and then use the loops for original composition. That, however, is going to require some time.

What I did was took the set of precomposed loops that they had and then stuck my time frame in that I needed. Wilst viewing the footage, I set up the composition so that I got the dramatic sections of the music to coincide EXACTLY with the footage...

You can edit in muti simultaneous tracks, extract vocals, create your own loops and add a bunch of special effects.

This thing will be epic once I spend some time with it...

Does it have 'The Chain' by Fleetwood Mac on there? I'll be getting my clamp for the roll cage soon and want to do a "Noble in the Spanish mountains" video.

No, but you can import any WMA, MP3 etc and then create your own loops. If you want, give me a shout when you get your footage and I'll sample 'The Chain' for ya...
