Sag Project- Someone needs to pick this up!
Discussion
Surely some one has got to buy this!
Sagaris Project
I tried desperately to get import approval for over a week but there's no way I can get this registered in Australia bringing it in as a project and it's not viable for me to move back to the UK to build it.
I think it'd be a huge shame for the assembled parts to spread back to the ether, so someone must need a winter project!

It's a new body shell left over from the factory, with a driveline out of another car (ls converted) and the chassis is I guess from a written off chassis that's you'd need to replace with a new one (with a new chassis number and registered with a IVA) or he has a clean t-350 chassis that you can use. There's a bunch of LHD bits too for anybody on the continent.
Sale is nothing to do with me btw, aside from me wanting to be they buyer! I just think it'd be a shame to break the collection for parts when it has so much potential, and I can't make it work for a purchase into Australia.

If had the money, I would have picked it up last week!
There's an other one for sale in Austria, not all parts included, but for less than 15.000.-GBP!

I have allready startet a crowdfunding to collect the money for one of these projects... :-)

I've seen the body, chassis, doors, windows, aero panels, interior, and all the stuff that Rhys (the green sag) has for sale. It's a new unused body, new chassis, with loads of other new parts, and a load of spare parts accumulated over a couple of years. He has converted a chassis for an LS install in his own sag, so the chassis etc for this are all stock, and set up for speed 6 . At one point I'm sure Rhys ended up with some NOS dealer parts, as he had a load of parts for sale at one point
If I didn't already have a couple of project cars filling my garage, this would be in there already.
Rhys is a straight up chap, I've bought some parts for my LS project from him that he had his dad machine as spares as our projects have some similair components, for beer money, if he charged me at all.
As for the one in Austria, I don't know what has been done to the front bumper area, the front wing vents are gone, and it maybe a real headache to get it looking like a sag, as at the moment it does not have some of the characteristics that make a sag.......well, a sag!

The interesting thing about the Austrian Sag is, that it is the never finished Sagaris Mk.2 prototype. This one should be finished by an abitious person as it was supposed to be.
Many details are very different to the common Sags.

This project has the potential to be a great car, Rhys has spent allot of time and effort to collect all the required parts. The shell is amazing and has all the vent cutouts already done.
Rhys has a damaged Sag chassis, brand new LHD sag chassis or a good T350 chassis to go with the shell along with nearly all the bits needed to build the car.
I'd be taking the T350 and modding the rear suspension pickups to Sag spec. I'd also be going LS but I'm biased, but a good option for someone wanting a LS Sag without modifying a good one.
As mentioned be the OP it would be a great shame to see this end up being split for parts.
The car in Austria - not a fan of the nose, plus that shell needs allot of work to get road worthy.
