Considering a mk 7 golf R.

How good/bad are they on bumpy single track roads on the std 18" wheels?

Worth getting the adaptive suspension to stiffen/soften?

Ta for any info

I've got one on std rims and suspension had it for a year and half and it's fine mate. Suspension isn't too hard at all

I've just got mine, standard rims, standard suspension, it is hard but it's bearable.
I had the DCC on my Mk7 GTI and was impressed, comfort was great for wafting.

Depends what you're used to... but I'm on standard 18s and suspension, have used the R on a variety of M, A, B and unclassified roads and the ride has never got out of control or annoying.

It's got a better ride than my FN2 Type R! My R is on 18's and is actually quite good over broken surfaces etc

I have a 2014 MK 7 R. It's on 19" Pretoria wheels. I really like the handling but it does crash over broken surfaces. The DCC is good but you'll just end up fiddling with settings and never be happy assuming it's similar to other VAG chassis controls.

It is a very capable car, you can be a hooligan one minute and then waft to the shops and back the next.

A friend of mine in LA has just picked up his. He hasn't confirmed yet, but looks like these are 19" - look great to my eyes.

US gets the 19" version of the Cadiz for some reason. UK gets 18" Cadiz or 19" Pretorias.
