Banks, account updates ?

I am with Natwest and have got used to no transactions showing on my internet banking over the weekend, so something purchased on a Thursday or Friday, doesn't show up until the following Tuesday, is it me or is that a bit crap nowadays, are all banks the same, do they not process transactions at the weekend ?

Funnily enough I noticed this on my partners Natwest account this weekend.
Transactions do not show up for a day or two on the Internet banking side of things.

I am with Nationwide who show transactions instantly...same with Barclays I think as I use a business account on there.

Seems Natwest (and maybe the overall RBS) are very much behind the times

Pretty archaic internet banking. I want them to email me and text me when money goes into my account, say over £100, can't do it.
