No offence intended, but it looks unloved. Those wheels are awful. And why would someone downgrade the engine - it's not as if its been tuned up, or even looks special.
Surely there are plenty of V8's out there to interest you?

Not in any rush happy to wait for the right car
but I intend to have any car that catches my eye checked out properly by someone that knows what they are doing and to have any problems sorted before it gets on the boat. I just have a thing about the wedge either a 280 or a 350 as long as it's a good one I will enjoy having it in my garage

It doesn't look that bad to be fair..Never driven an Essex V6 but Stu's Taimar is pushing out 162bhp...The 280i boasts 160bhp but is more realistically 140-150bhp...If that don't float ya boat then i think i might know where there is a 2.9i race tuned V6 from a TVR..On carbs...The wheels maketh a car definitely but thats something that can be left to personal taste..Lattice wheels can be bought that look similar to the original BBS alloys, Compomotive wheels are still trading...
Not a bad price...Delilah sold for around that and needed the interior sorting and the paint could of done with a blow over....
