Bang on your route from Swindon, Speedy. M4, A34 straight across the M3 onto the A272. Cracking road that takes you up to the Petersfield services then a "lively" drive on the back roads to Goodwood. Twill be worth the effort.
on a side note, is the Brunel Rooms and Bubbles still going in downtown Swindon?? had some "interesting" times there in the early eighties

I used to have some mates in Swindon and enjoyed some nights out there in the late 90's, I remember one club was a converted church (I think?!).on a side note, is the Brunel Rooms and Bubbles still going in downtown Swindon?? had some "interesting" times there in the early eighties
And another one, had a circular revolving bar which totally freaked me and a mate out once as we didn't realise and were stood at the bar for 10 mins trying to work out how come the dance floor was now the opposite side of the bar to us.
