Run out Disco 4 - Any deals to be had?

Hi Folks,

Thinking of replacing our aging RX300 next year, the Mrs likes the Disco, particularly the 8 speed MY15 model. I have not inquired with dealers yet as I am not ready to purchase but was interested to hear if folks were getting deals on the run out model? It may sway me for a new one vs lightly used if the numbers stack up.

Don;t think you'll get much more than the usual offering to be honest.

I just ordered a new commercial. Came to nearly 51k with all the extras. Got it for 48k after a lot of "I'll just check that with my manager" backwards and forwards.

I think they will get a lot of orders for the outgoing one, even the dealer didn't seem to convinced about the looks and load lugging capability of the new one. Not that they know anything until they get one but I have to say what I have heard about the next onedoesn't sound all that great.

I don't think the deals are any better yet but may be as time goes on. Still the same 3-5k off list depending on spec.

If you want a deal, wait until the new model is within a couple of months or just launched and go for either a demo or a stock car. I had a D4HSE a couple of years ago, cracking motor but the in-car systems were ageing then, so be warned.

I don't think the new one will dent used prices much, my TDV8 RRS price stayed strong even after the new model. I think folks may be put off if the new models softens the image, that said it could attract more buyers into the marque. I agree I may be able to get something from group stock at that time a little cheaper, not sure the Mrs wants to wait that long thought especially as there is no release date yet.
