Spotted this on eBay:
Aston Martin V8 Vantage Prodrive Suspension Kit
Never seen one of these kits come up before (especially brand new).
Guess it may be of interest to someone.

I would guess that it would be a far superior ride quality/comfort than the standard setup.

Found some details here:

Never seen a kit for sale separately online before, could be a good option for someone looking to upgrade. One of they key selling points of the Prodrive kit was that it is switchable damping and has 2 settings

Ive ridden in a few different setups on the Vantage. To be fair, the standard OE setup is pretty comfortable for general road use.
The aftermarket, more "sporty" firmer setups do lose some comfort for normal British b road use. Everything is a compromise

Hence having 2 settings remotely adjustable on the damping is a good way to go so you have an easy adjust option. Might be useful if you do trackdays

This is tempting, but having just bought the car I'm skint unfortunately - I have the magride suspension on my TT, and it's nice being able to switch it to "soft" mode when the road surface is crap.

I think that you copied the wrong link.

This looks like the Prodrive road suspension, as fitted to some of the Prodrive V8Vs: http://astonmartins.com/car/v8-vantage-prodrive/

Something like these have been through these columns before- http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...
IIRC, they don't go on so easily. Those went for £1550.

Only problem with that kit it's incomplete - there's no front springs or front helper springs - that's probably why it was so cheap
