... in America

seen something on Ebay in America, not very big or bulky but seller wants silly money to post to UK but only $10 to America.

So, would anyone be willing and able to receive them, re-address and forward on, I will of course reimberse all your costs somehow or other! smile

Might be able to help Mike. I may know someone coming over for Christmas who could carry it. Not another fuel tank is it?

I could forward it on to you Mike. Postage can be a bit steep though, so check in with USPS.com before you commit.

Paul, YHM. Personal courier and only UK post to pay sounds good!

David, if above doesn't work out I'll be in touch, thanks.

I have a mate in Florida at the moment, due back on the 26th. If it's not too big he might bring it back. Alternatively I have a sister in Minnesota who might help (so long as it's not too bulky. It's not a 5 liter Cologne variant out of a US Ford truck or something is it? laugh

The deed is done, many thanks to Paul (and his friend in America) and everyone else for your kind offers.

Should anyone be interested this is what it was all about..... Clicky, that's a very good price but Postage was "killing it" even when buying all three sets.

Welcome to UK Customs sir. Are you carrying anything for anyone else in your luggage. Especially someone you don't know......

Mike, I'm glad you found a way to get the gaskets to the old country. The Cologne was used in all sorts of vehicles over here so there is a healthy supply of parts, same goes for some of the Sierra bits (Merkur XR4ti).

If any of you want something from here that can't be found there, just let me know. I live close to Advance Auto Parts, Autozone and O'Reilly. Rock Auto take some beating on prices but sometimes shipping can be a little steep because they use such a large warehouse network.
