Preparing for the worst?

Noticed more than one TVR dealer suddenly becoming Lotus dealers. Struggling to make a living from TVR, or preparing for the worst????

Perhaps they’re just trying to find suppliers that will talk to them.

I thought TMS had sold off all its other marque dealerships

Not sure to honest mate, not been out that way for a while, they have an open day on Sunday 10th April, toss up between there or Touring Cars at Donington

Yep, indeed this appears to be the case. The TVR part of TMS is not linked any more to the other branches.

Kerridges have given up TVR and are Noble.

The TVR centre (which advertises itself as the biggest) is taking on Noble?

Mole Valley, Kerridges, all without new TVR's, others taking on Lotus, Noble, Morgan.

Haxham HC have started doing Noble aswell .. smart move I'd say, although didn't TVR Eng. take the TVR dealerships off anyone with Nobles as well as selling TVR in the Wheeler days?

What used to be my nearest TVR dealer at Bromsgrove, is now Nick Whale Lotus.
I really hope TVR don't go belly up, but the market for expensive sports cars with dodgy engines has got to be getting smaller by the week. Consumers in general are getting choosier and pickier, and there's a lot of choice in the £30 Grand-ish sports car area.
Every time I check a TVR dealers website or advert they all seem chock full of very low mileage Tuscans and very little else. With Tuscans rightly or wrongly seen as a very risky purchase, is it any wonder there's a dwindling dealership.
If I was going to risk £30K on a high powered car, I might as well get a Maserati. Still a bit russian roulette, but maybe not quite so suicidal.
