Any one used Need For Ring car hire (Nurburgring)?
Discussion
Hi chaps, I'm planning a ring visit in late August to tie in with watching the F1 at Spa. Looking at potential hire cars, priced up the usual suspects (Rent4Ring Suzukis) and came across www.needforring.com
they have an interesting selection of cars eg BMW 318ti Compact at 699 euros all inclusive for 12 laps with only a 1000 euro excess.
This compares to Rent4Ring Swifts at 899 euros with 5000 euro excess or 1200 euros with 2500 euro excess.
Just a bit worried about using a company without a track record as long, should I be?

No, but I've used Ring Garage who have an interesting car line up for reasonable cost http://www.r-garage.de
The excess is quite high, was 15K euro on the GT86 I used, however they don't require this upfront.
Although I believe they have links to the Russian Mafia so I would pay up

Seriously though, I think the excess is too high, at that level I'm better of chancing my own car! Might stick to the Rent4ring Swifts but I'm still drawn to the idea of the 3 series compact.
