Strange lack of reception on telly
Discussion
Couple of days ago switched onto an ITV channel, pop up box said poor reception due to Ariel. All of the commercial channels were the same but BBC channels worked fine, as did all the catch-up stuff. 30 hours later everything came back just fine!! Could it be our telly on the way out?
Stuff is transmitted on different muxes, ITV channels, grouped together, BBC on a different one, CH4 etc on another.
Find your transmitter and see what channels are grouped together.
I would put it down to reception initially with a bit of investigation (aerial through to a dodgy end at the first receiver, needs to be proved) . Can you get channel signal strength on your menu? Atmospherics can make a difference.
My local is Wenvoe.

Find your to see what is what on what mixes.
Edit. Of course stuff can be on low power from the transmitter, neighbours are often a good measure. There can be an engineering announcement as well on the web sites.
