There's a girl in an office working late. I think she's of mixed Western and Oriental, or Eastern, descent, a bit Mel Sykes maybe.

She obviously wants to go out and party but has to work. She's rocking the typical secretary look with an office outfit and glasses, but when the clock strikes <whatever her going home time is> is she loses the glasses and transforms into a red dress (I think). She's cute. She can dance well. Then she's suddenly at a club and the group whose song it is kinda take over and you only really see her in the background, if at all, after that.

I really need to know what this is or I might not sleep tonight.

It's totally noodling my noggin. It's on the tip of my memory and every time I try to grab it, it floats away.

I have a mnemonic memory. Usually I can totally nail stuff like this - I have very much come into my own in the internet age as my memory is poor but my mnemonic association is awesome and google usually does the rest.
Unfortunately I can't recall the music at all. All I can get is that it's a Friday night and she wants to go party for the weekend. But it is not Michael Gray's "The Weekend"
