Everyone's on Facebook these days
No censorship, instant responses, no logging on.... Technology moves on and so do peoples needs
I can' be arsed with being bombarded by ads, holiday snaps, photos of people's new dogs and what a great curry they had last night!

Hopefully someone with more resilience to FB than me will be able do the low tech bit and update here on good old PH
Funny you should ask this, I was thinking exactly same recently.
It's been 2 months since the Autocar release on the Cosworth testing and wondered when the next teaser was due too. I suspect the marketing bod has a better idea, assuming there is a marketing bod. Although I went on the official TVR site 'noise' to see if there was any update and even the Cosworth testing back in October didn't get a mention. Me thinks the 2 year release planning and marketing strategy is not actually planned as such. I think it is, and will continue to be, haphazard at best ad that's being kind to them, which doesn't fill me with confidence in seeing my car, or any car in 2017 tbh.

No, the TVR brigade has started a migration to blatters.com It's a bit more like pre-Haymarket PH over there

Looked everywhere today and there appears to be no update or information at all. Very curious, lets hope there is something soon as I would have expected an ongoing stream of info by now like 'we have xyz working on the design' etc. Possibly/hopefully the reason is the design team are under confidentiality agreements.
I did hear that TVR were going round the marque garages etc in the summer seeing if they wanted to be dealers for the launch so that's positive - of sorts

Well I met the boss this summer after he had toured dealers, been to several TVR gigs etc, are you really interested or a nay sayer from the Clarkson camp? Plenty have put their money down and don't appear on here jumping up and down? I'm chafing at the bit TBH ! Checking for info and updates is a routine and as I mentioned am aware from TVR circles of the getting dealers on board (although not all 'obvious' garages been approached) and that is something that could be on the website.
Yes there are deposits down, and hopefully things are under wraps for a more meaningful next press release but it's a shame this is all optimistic conjecture at the moment!

Such is the glorious social change brought upon society by social media that barely two months from the last announcement our addicted selves are craving more snippets.
Look on the bright side, I think that TVR only making announcements when they have something to announce is infinitely superior to a Teitter feed that reports every time someone has a fart.

Article in the FT over the weekend...
"Sports car maker TVR hopes to muscle back into market"

“What is TVR? It’s loud,” says Les Edgar, a video games millionaire and now custodian of the 68-year-old brand. “TVR has to come back like a hairy-chested monster.”
Brilliant.
