Just taken off my TVR PAS rack and am thinking about the Scoble rack conversion. I want the same number of turns lock to lock but now I have taken the rack out I can't check how turns it was. Can some nice person check theirs and let me know. Thanks

Hard to say Jes.

Some setups have the plastic stops fitted, some haven't so it is hard to compare.

IMHO the TVR PS rack and the Scooby feel the same, certainly so discernable difference.

Happy for you to try my Scooby setup if you want.

FWIW the information from TVR at the time was that the non-PAS cars were geared to 2.7 turns lock to lock and the PAS cars 2.2

Thanks chaps. 2.2 sounds about right. I think mine might have been slightly less because I had bump stops to cater for 225 wide front tyres. the amount of wheel twirling we have to do on sprints anything more won't work well.

Peter if you get a minute can you spin yours from lock to lock and have a quick count for me. I really like your idea of a scooby rack and would like to try yours but I am swamped till Xmas and then rather inconveniently go skiing with the family until the 3rd then back to the grindstone again.

Cheers
