Can a 2011 Discovery 4 now run LED trailer lights correctly?

I'm looking to buy a Disco 4 but wondering if LR finally solved the issue of the cars not being able to operate LEd trailer lights.
On my Disco 3 I have a converter wired in.

Bloody annoying if they still can't operate LED's seeing as every other car with a tow bar out there can!!
