You like me? Racing around everywhere trying to be as loud as possible, whilst driving recklessly and with complete disregard for speed limits.....yet have still never been spotted?

I dont think I was spotted in 6 months of S ownership

We did once hear a guy shout "Look, a TVR V8S" which was impressive.

The world within 100 miles likely spots us dozens/hundreds of times each year, they're not all PHers though. A good thing

I've never been spotted either, I've spotted a few others. One faded red/orange S3 in Canterbury and F908TIM but I couldn't really miss him parked on my drive

No, seriously I had seen Tim a couple of times, once on the Hamstreet bypass and a few months later last summer in Ramsgate (he's a serial fish and chip eater you know). He's managed to get the seagull poo off the car now

Actually, Tims car is very nice. I was very impressed when he came over the other week, very nice indeed.

I must get my paint, roof, carpets and seats done

Ahhh there's another at work and I think it may even be a V8S looking at the tailpipes but I've never seen the owner or heard it running, G892 something or other IIRC, I posted a thread here but no repsonse so I guess he doesn't PH?

Uhhm yes you may have seen me about in your area from time to time, blatting around the city centre and I occasionally take mine to work but not very often. To be honest I haven't used the car much at all for a few months but I will when I have been able to work through my "to do" list a little more.

I have very rarely seen an S driven by somebody I didn't already know! (Or on the way to a meeting when I knew I was going to find out shortly). There are not very many of us up here.

Perhaps we should start a new club "Proud to be not spotted" or something We could turn our nose up at the sort that brag about being spotted 5 times, hey hoover

Or maybe we could all get together for an 'S' meet but pretend we haven't seen each other

Cant be a V8 Kevin if its a 'G' reg, unless its a private plate!! V8S's IIRC were not built until 1991! There is a V6 exhaust that has the split pipes at the back like the V8S, MyCroft has one!

You not been spotted Kev.......too busy with the homework eh...

You're not wrong there Mike, I'm still bloody, fitting skirtings, filling in holes in plaster and decorating. It's eating into my valuable S time!

Still, I fitted a couple of reflectors for the MOT earlier and I resealed my sender unit and he's off for MOT tomorrow, see whether my exhaust passes without much silencing!

Thanks Rob, oddly enough the exhaust sounds better when the car is hot, more rumble than hot rod!

I've just dropped it off so fingers crossed!

I would imagine that Pistonheaders represent a small minority of the total owners of TVRs out there, so if you do flash or see another car they are relatively unlikely to be a regular on here.

And even if they know of Pistonheads, I would say most of Ted's traffic don't check the forums every single day so 'spotteds' can quickly drop down the list and off the first couple of pages by the time they do visit.
