Leaking help?

I have one leak on my car and it's turning into a bad one!
If the car is stood when raining water is getting in somewhere and when I drive the car and brake or turn sharply I then get half a cup of water hit mainly my left leg!
It's coming from up high I think,, has anyone else had this issue,, it's only on the drivers side that I'm aware of,,
I've tried putting my arm up and around the steering column to find a puddle or where the water can sit but can't find it,,,,?

My windscreen is also very badly pitted and needs replacing,,
Is this a windscreen out job to get at the leak anyway ?
It's a PITA and I've got to sort it,,
Has anyone got pics of the windscreen out or pics so I can see what's behind all the wiring etc.
Something stripped out so I can clearly see where the fleck it can be coming from,,

I get a similar problem.
If I leave my car out in heavy rain without the cover on, on the first right turn I get a wet left leg, first left turn I get a wet right leg.
With the Leven half cover on this doesn't happen.
So it is either the bottom of the screen, or the washer pipe....

I haven't looked at the above yet but the washer pipe area seems high on the list,, it's gonna cause us some serious grief if we don't sort it Anthony,, I'm also close to ordering a cover just to look after the hood,, It's about ruined the carpet and causes a lot of damp in the car,, with that fixed it'll be almost water tight

Alun l have used this to great effect 2 applications over the last 4 years since my rebuild, run a bead around the screen seal and wipers and jets its white when wet but dries clear fantastic stuff. Left my car out in a field over the Silverstone classic weekend and it hoofed it down with rain inside of the car was dry as a bone

If you have an airline handy,fire it around your windscreen rubber seal.Where the seal lifts,thats where your leak is.

I can feel Richard grimising lol,,, air line, yes I have one and yes that's a good idea, I'll also get the hair dryer out,, leave it in the car for a few hours,,, I can feel damp up around the wiring by the steering wheel !!
The stuff won't arrive for a few days yet but as soon as it does,,,
I really need a new screen as mines starting to delaminate and is chipped more than a Vauxhall Corsa

Portzi, Mark, did you remove the mesh grill to seal the wiper hose holes or just squeeze the stuff down there,,

As far as I can see the mesh is only held in place with a few rivets,, has anyone removed it,,,
I'm considering replacing mine for the Stainless one supplied by Verpoorten Technic...

Mines starting to look a bit tatty so I'd be interested in doing the same Alun, if you don't object to me jumping on your band wagon......waits for inevitable QBee pun, (thinks...he ought to have a field day with this....).

Nothing much wrong with mine but I'd like a bit more metal on the car,,, I'm even thinking of stainless heater pipe rail thingi,,,
I can't win prizes for power output but it'll look the nuts

Central TVR just replaced my Screen as it was cracked. They have genuine TVR screens in stock. All I paid was the excess on my insurance.

It could be coming in round the pedal box or master cylinders. Have you checked high up in the footwell to see where it is coming in?

I could do with both the screen and the Verpoorten mesh. My screen has hundreds of tiny stone chips which make driving into the sun quite awkward, and my mesh is a mess.
