Hi all, what are people using to replace old chassis to body rubber bushes? Are new ones available or are there other solutions?

Thanks!

Yay - sounds like progress!

For bits I have replaced when perished, I have cut up an old (well used so it's thin) tyre.

But I am sure there are more legitimate methods. Besides, it's a messy thing to do.

Didn't think Wedges had "Tits"...hehe..Sorry couldn't resist it....Well all i know is no Wedge owner is without this incredibly put together Wedge maintenance guide...Even Haynes were never this good!...Look under the 390SE section at the "Rear suspension & Drivetrain" ...In fact its all a good read and best of all is its FREE....smile

Thanks chap, (Zig I don't get the ref to breasticles :-o )but..

I meant the round 2 piece rubber bushes through which the (for example) outrigger plates are bolted through the body. Mine look a bit distorted so I wanted to see about replacing them.

Hi

Just completed a body off chassis refurb and we used these bushes from a Norton petrol tank, they worked well. Hope it helps
