I have only taken 6 days off this year so far .. I decided that Thurs and Friday of this week I would have another 2.

The weather forecast for round here looked a bit pants but WOW it’s been amazing! been out driving all day yesterday round some lovely quiet roads out Retford way.

Today, just got back from another lovely trip to Castleton and over the hills to Edale.

I just wanted to make you lot at WORK jealous that’s all, it’s a mean streak I have

I'm busy slaving over a hot patient or two!! Spent all this afternoon getting a tyre changed ready for my track day tomorrow, then a thrash around Sainsbury's with a trolley, and doing tyre pressures, filling up with Optimax etc. etc. Andrew, as mentioned on another thread, are you coming along?

Loads to do was got back from work at 22:00 yeaterday. In at 7:00 this morning and still slaving on... Glad I've got a nice car to spend my hard-earned money on !

Well I was in work, now I am home, just spent a happy 30 minutes playing with the connectors from the stereo into the dash (I re wired the connector block as TVR switchs the black and the red), then tested the feed to the rear connector in the passenger panel.

The best bit is my understanding girlfriend, knew I wanted to do this, has prepared dinner, but timmed it to give me an hour to play, she has just come up stairs and given me a glass of champange ( I kid you not), and I am now gassing, waiting for the meal to complete.

Sometimes its just worth having a bad day in the office, to come home and enjoy the highlights.
