Anyone bought custom clothing?

I'm looking at buying the kit for my local cycle club, Looking at a short list of Enduro, Pro Vision and Norty.

Does anyone have any experience of any of these manufacturers, either from wearing their kit or ordering from them>

Pro Vision top end kit is absolutely fantastic. Top end, pro quality kit.
Easy to deal with too. Lead times are high at around 12 weeks and late Jan onwards is always busy - but I would absolutely recommend them.

I've got club kit from Champion Systems, Force GB, and Pistonheads stuff from Owayo. All good.

Owayo was a bulk order only when we did it but with Champion they give you a club website and you can pick and choose single articles from a pretty wide list - although none of us has been brave enough for the skin suit

Hmmm, I had Owayo before and would say it was a pile of st to be honest.
Poor shape/fit and not very breathable materials.

Pro Vision kit is a million times better, even the more basic kit.
If you just want basic jerseys, then I would also look at Scimitar Sports.

I also got mugged at a charity event and have a custom Endura jersey which is top drawer in terms of quality and materials even if I'll never wear it as its far too cheesy! No idea what quantities Endura require of you, the biggie for Champion Systems is anyone can pick and choose without landing a monster order on one individual to sort out

We have Champion systems ... first impressions are it looks good and fits ok. A few slight material tearing sounds when I put it on but no holes appeared

I must say, it was pretty expensive ... I did opt for the Razor carbon stuff in terms of bib shorts and jersey but they worked out about £230 inc VAT and delivery. As a club we ordered about £6k's worth so not a huge order but the delivery worked out about £300!

Unfortunately I don't think we would have enough take up (small club) to get Endura or Castelli which I think we'd choose if we had the option.

Many years ago a club official ordered some direct from Italy, and labelled the diagram with the words Red and white on the relevant areas - you can guess what happened??

Lusso make custom kit, the best made kit I've seen that lasts more than one season, and the bibshorts have decent pads
And they make the stuff in the uk!

Gruffy sorted out the PH kit and I think has used more than one supplier so can probably give a good idea on what to do/avoid.

From my own experience the Owayo top (procut?) I got a year or so ago is good quality, very well fitted and is wearing well.

Owayo were super easy to deal with and very cheap but they have a limited range and it's fairly basic stuff. BioRacer have the best kit and the widest range. Pro Vision also have a good range but I found them a bit difficult. Kalas kit was good too and was a close second behind BioRacer for the PH kit. No experience with the others you've mentioned I'm afraid Marcellus.

Might be worth trying Impsport - http://www.impsport.com/ - used to do some decent stuff, but I haven`t tried them for a few years.

I run the kit orders for my club.

We've previously used champ sys and Godfrey's (the latter I wouldn't touch with a 200ft pole)

We've ended up with a very happy relationship with Wildoo.

The quality is top notch, the range is wide (possible to get down to £25 for short sleeved summer jerseys) and a £30ish short sleeved Jersey is my all time favourite bit of summer kit. The top of the range is into 3 figures but damn its nice.

They are also fantastic guys and girls to deal with - I really couldn't recommend them higher. For either service or the quality of the kit.

My club has recently switched to Bioracer. Not the quickest turnaround but the quality and fit is top notch. They can cater for everything from standard club jerseys to top end kit for racers in any discipline.

We reviewed over 20 suppliers when looking at new club kit (including all the above). Went for Primal in the end and very impressed so far.
