Palmersport Alternatives
Discussion
Ive been tasked with looking into a PalmerSport day for a corporate reward outing.
I did a quick search on here but could see anything, but I was wondering if anyone on here has any experience with the known alternatives to a Palmer Sport day?
We have approx 10 people coming, but could bring more - if that was the case then the budget for the day would be less per person, so a cheaper alternative would be of interest if anyone can recommend anything?
I have seen the Caterham Experience @ Silverstone - the Circuit Racing looks good? Has anyone been?
Also the MSV Trackmaster at either Oulton or Brands.?
Any pointers much appreciated!

Palmer is #1.
CDX Circuit is great too, and if you're into track driving maybe better value too as you'll get 12 mins driving per hour for 6 hours.
for 10+ you should contact them for a private day.
You can hire track cars at track days (google is your friend) but that's a lot of standing around in pit lane with everyone else.
depends on requirement - hospitality/driving/variety/kudos

We're based next door to the main Palmersport hanger so see first hand a lot of the development, prep and support that goes into the Palmersport fleet.
In short there is no alternative to Palmersport for what you are wanting to do, the cars are designed and built specifically to provide the maximum enjoyment possible for those who aren't full on racing drivers to start with, they are prepared excellently and with care and the instructors are highly experienced and capable.
There are many ways to get a load of people onto a circuit in some cars but there is only one way you can do it with a circuit designed specifically for this kind of action, with good food, great people and an element of competition and that's Palmersport. It's not even expensive when you take into account the variety and performance of the cars on offer.... did I mention the food is really good too?

I've done the PalmerSport days and they truly are great fun. But for an even better track experience the proper race cars that Bookatrack run are fabulous. I went on one early this year with some colleagues who have also done the PalmerSport days and they all agreed the Bookatrack ones were more exhilarating.
