London Tunnel meet

Whos up for a drive round town this weekend Sat for some tunnel hunting.
We start of at dartford tunnel blast down the A13 to blackwall tunnel,then through greenwich to rotherithe tunnel,then limehouse link then a few good tunnels in town. Then some lunch at Harrods then hit the big ones round london bridge. meet up in blackheath at 1pm on blackheath common london get in touch 07717 370 172 Eddie

Funny I would normally be up for this!! I am not sure what I have planned. Was thinking of organising a bash but I did not fancy the width restrictions on the Rotherhide! Anyway from what I can tell, the corker is actually the Strand underpass northbound form waterloo bridge! I have researched them all with my Tamora!

My recommended route would be as follows:

Dartford tunnel
A13
Limehouse link (strict 30 due to speed cameras)
right outside west bound limehouse tunnel
Under rotherhide
Across Towerbrige (carefull specs 20mph limit)
Along lower thames street (another specs enforced 20 mph limit)
Tunnel under mermaid and then right.
Over blackfriars
Along to Waterloo and finish off with the strand underpass followed by Parklane underpass!

Cars in for the dreaded MoT but should be back on the road in time.

Where are you planning to meet up and at what time?

Blackheath common 1pm lots of parking and ten min to dartford tunnel good if u could up up phil.

Not knowing London that well ---more info on car park in Blackheath would help..Streetmap link may be?

Has anyone driven through the service tunnel at Heathrow? Where the big tunnel is near the model concorde, theres a smaller single lane one next to that only taxi's seem to use. Im sure anyone is allowed through it though, because Ive done it in a noisy car Sounds a bit out of the way for you lot though...
