I have a few faults coming up on the dash on my 2006 cayenne. If I repair the fault will the error message go or will I still need to go to a dealer to get the messages taken off by Porsche.
Thanks.

Hi,

Depends what the faults are to start with...?

The first fault is the abs wearing message, I know I have broken sensor waiting for new one to turn up.

The other message is Oil monitoring failure workshop. I think this has come on as car was parked on a steep slope and the sensor has got stuck so will order a new one but I was wondering if the code would clear if fault was fixed. My only diagnosis is what I have been reading from the Internet.

Some faults go if you disconnect the battery.

Have a go, simple enough.

Otherwise someone with Durametric would / should be able to clear these codes once the cause is sorted.
