So what can you do to a Formula BMW - I thought everything was sealed and non adjustable?

Split up with the girlfriend a couple of weeks ago. I popped upto the pub I work at a couple of evenings a week.

Then i've spent the evening trying to get my wireless LAN to work.

Had tea, lounged on PH, watched telly...

Valentine's Day's like any other day - why treat it as different? Would have had a drink, but I've decided to be teetotal this week - the amount I'm spending on booze is monumental.

I'm not letting it bother me. For all I know I could 'meet someone' whenever - why should I be extra vigilant and up for it on Feb 14th?

We were playing with fuel pressure and other things, also comparing cars against each other on the rollers.

Listening to the best compilation CD in the world (Sasha and Digweed - Renaisance) and drinking red wine.

Thinking I really need to sort my sh*t out and find a woman... One with a brain for a change!

Oh, and drifting my 200SX in NFS Underground 2.

Yep, just had my first glass of Zinfandel and I've played the piano a bit and will indulge in a bit of reflection and self pity. Doing the usual rounds of internet boredom. Might see what novel filth I can find on google image search

A bit of what we know at work as prospecting

Sent a text to a friend's sister who is absolutely gorgeous.

Other than that a bit of PH and a bit of TV.

Now that's more like it!

I miss my drunken flings with my mates younger sister.

She never replies to my messages these days.

Just seen Look Around You to cheer myself up, might stick a DVD on or listen to Disintegration by The Cure and swan around my room in faux-tragic melancholy. Blue mid-level mood-lighting is already on. Please stop me. Now.

Might drop a text to someone, but it's getting late, she might be out - nah, I'll phone her tomorrow morning.

Just need to be fast asleep when my housemates with rooms either side of mine come back from their nights out with their girlfriends...

I've finished off the last bit of Half Life 2, played a round of GTR (the new demo), changed a few bits of my program to simulate car launches got bored so went back to my other coursework - cracking unix passwords.

At the moment my PC is tidying up a 240MB wordlist of potential passwords which i can use in my dictionary attack of the encrypted passwords.

I will point out this is for coursework reasons - we are given a false password file and have been asked to "crack" them in an effort to show us what makes a good password, and ultimately what doesn't. All very interesting, but I'm damned glad I bought a new PC as it makes this sort of work soo much faster! (3.5gb AMD 64 vs a AMD 1.4 tbird )

Ever seen Phill Jupitus - Quadrophobia?

"Google 'Animal curiosities', ask it to find 'two monkeys buggering a rhinoceros... Oh, so that's what that looks like then..."

Nothing special. I was under full impression it was St Valentines day on Saturday and it doesn't have quite the same effect twice in a year...
