TVR Saiga for sale
Discussion
Both of them (coupe & convertible) for sale in the Netherlands (I'm not the seller). Not the prettiest of cars but would make a nice project for whoever wants to own a rare piece of TVR history. Have seen these and pictures give a good idea of their current condition.

I'd never heard of this Saiga so I did a quick search and found this thread on here which has background on it

Looks like a love child of a Spitfire, Marcos with a bit of TVR mixed in for good measure
And a 911 roof line on the coupe ...Very ugly! But for anyone planning a restauration project looks like an interesting starting point for something as rare as the white elephant. Cars have been mainly in dry storage last couple of years, not sure on chassis and technical condition. Definitely needs a thorough cleaning :-)

Despite their odd looks I hope someone is brave enough to try to save them, it's all part of the TVR story.
Come on John your good at rare and unusual would go well with your race ?Andrew
Dont you fancy a challenge to add to your collection?
They made 2 coupes and 1 Targa. (white one for sale)
I owned Targa shell number 4, along with the floor mould..which I saved from Wakefield a good few years ago.
Mr AC Roney bought it from me and then probably sold it on to a guy in the netherlands who had wasted my time previously by saying he wanted to buy it and then after my storing it for him for getting on for a year changed his mind.
The chassis were a heavily compromised m/ something hybrid designed to take Ford Cortina running gear.
Its not a TVR Saiga it is an SEM Saiga bye the way some aspects of the shell are interesting, Rear arches for example very like Widebody tuscan.
I believe the rest of the moulds etc are in Holland..
You really would have to be deranged to put one on an M chassis!!!
