Rolex history/stolen register
Discussion
Does Rolex , Rolex uk or a Rolex dealer offer a service to check serial number against loss register and also do a search on history of a particular watch ie model/ dealer sold at etc.
Also an authenticity check if sent in? I have a Rolex president that Ive opened and inspected under a loupe and weighed bits like bracelet links and all comes up as good but I think the paperwork is a forgery. Watch sold at auction.

Not anymore
There is a stolen / lost register, however it is only available to ADs. It used to open to the public, but due to demand Rolex could not cope with the number of enquiries, so they reduced access to be able to maintain the level of service.
It is very doubtful they would do an authenticity check without a full service.

The TRF (therolexforums) would be a good place to post pics of the papers (and the watch) they will guide you on what you have, of course not whether it was stolen or not, but whether it's genuine Rolex. I hope it turns out well.
Im very sure its a genuine Rolex President. Everything from the weight of the watch to the case back inside to the movement etc. Weight of braclet, hallmarks etc. Its the documentation that is suspect. Il see if I can post a picture later on of it. Thanks
