Whilst collecting my new C350e Saturday I was given the treat of driving the AMG. All well and good (though missing the rawness of my GT2) but this one came with ceramics.

Odd thing is it had ceramics on the front but steels on the back.

Is this normal? I've never seen a Porsche like this and sounds a bit like cost-cutting. I suppose the fronts are more important.

For what it's worth, a lovely car but definitely won't get me out of the 911 wink

Yeah it is fairly normal from what I understand, even some of the earlier Porsches had it?

Well the ceramics option came out in around 2002 I think and early GT2s had steels before that. The 2002 had ceramics standard and they were the only cars to have them at that point (turbo S later had them standard I think) (option on all cars).

I don't recall ever seeing only fronts on any 911
