This is a heavily loaded interior wise special wish car.

There is leather interior and then there is this! The only other car I have seen with so much optioned up is the last 993 ordered by one of the Barcardi drinks family.

Leather faced clocks and bezels. Leather air vents. Switches and speakers too! It would have cost an obscene amount in the day to have this amount of detailing. 'Dunno about the wood. No place for it in a 911 let alone a Speedster.

I simply cannot believe the works would have fitted that outrageously chav spoiler. It must have been fitted on the insistence of the customer by the supplying dealer once he saw it did not have one. I know Ozzie/NZ Speedsters had spoilers. So surely Porsche would have fitted a whale tail.

White wheels - they look polished and not anodized which was a US factory option plus what looks like a red inlay, the red interior with wood and black paint is strange. So is LHD delivered to the UK. It's not UK spec with a KMH speedo. Why is there a white block at 50-60kmh on the face? Was that a US spec safety thing at the time? Or HK?

Is this some sort of Arab prince car?! I'd take a standard RHD ta very much.

The 993 Turbo S had that leather treatment, vents, switches etc. Bonkers!

Presumably they must have drank a dozen bottles while they were filling the order form in !

Never seen a spoiler like that on an air cooled car, looks totally out of place.

You could get something remotely similar on a 964 but it curved down at the edges to join the engine cover, so not the same

Jeez, that interior and spoiler are possibly the worst I have seen.

Pity we don't have heating controls like that anymore though, simple and all that is required.

Whilst this stuff is gash and not to my taste, I am sort of glad they exist as they are part of the story, the excesses of the time etc.

I appreciate the talent of the person who did the leather work.

OMG that's vile - no wonder it's only got 11,000 miles on it - you'd not want to be seen in that baby . £K 160 - now that's a lot of money - good luck with that smile
