Tamiya 1:12 Ducati 1199 Panigale build

Following on from modifying a Miasto GSXR model with bits from some Tamiya kits I decided to buy and make the Tamiya plastic model kit of my current favourite road bike, the 1199 Panigale. There are also a few super detailing parts available for it which I also purchased. Fortunately I already have most of the Tamiya paints for the build.
I will be painting the bodywork the matt white colour scheme as I prefer that over the red whenever I have seen these bikes in the flesh, but I will be painting the wheels red, as again I like the scheme on the 899. I know this option probably isn't available from Ducati but I would probably get it done if I had a real bike!
Anyway, the aim is to get something looking like this
Of course I will update this thread as progress is made, hopefully that will encourage me to keep going!
