I posted this in the Steam sale thread, just reposting in it's own in case that gets missed.

I've only just heard about this, big problems on Steam apparently, see https://twitter.com/Totalbiscuit

Logins going to other accounts at random, haven't yet found where the advice is coming from not to touch anything but it seems prudent. Nothing official from Valve yet.

I'm checking my Paypal now.

Glad I saw this before I logged in.
Had a bit of a look on other sites, it appears that not touching anything is the best advice for now, they seem to think it's a cache problem rather than being hacked.

Latest report is that it as a caching issue with private pages being cached and then exposed to others as they hit the servers - so no actual fully sensitive data (mainly blanked out cc numbers and purchase history) and you are not able to affect the other account pages you have been served.
Finally been shut down whilst they fix the problem. Still waiting on official line from Valve though. http://www.pcgamer.com/warning-steam-is-revealing-...

+1 fantastic game yes shows you don't need cutting edge graphics/controls (although being a Star Wars fan does help!)

Anyway OT, changed my paypal password for now...

Agreed with the above. If you have an interest in RPGs, even if like me, you are not a fan of Star Wars (prefer hard sci-f), KOTOR is a must. Bioware cannot design an inventory system to save their lives, but they absolutely deliver a wonderful story-telling experience, chock full of Star Wars immersion, characters with personality, and a sound-track and audio effects that deliver the SW experience (the first time you wield a lightsaber springs to mind).

I''m around 2/3rds through the iOS version, although it has been on the back-burner due to Life Is Strange (completed, a wonderful experience, but shares same weakness as other storytelling games in terms of genuine choice) and Vampire: The Masquerade (another c2003 RPG that absolutely delivers in terms of story-telling, immersion and multiple means to achieve an end).

On topic, I experienced this issue last night. That said, I'm abstaining from purchasing because I purchased 5 titles during the Halloween sale, and still need to get back to Dragon Age: Origins once I finish V:TMB. Unfortunately, DA:O 10 and a half hours in is an underwhelming experience compared to V:TMB which almost 2/3rds in is still an absorbing experience. Keeps getting better and better.
