Hello,

My brother inlaw has a 1990 944S2 convertible with an electric roof not operating.
The motors, opening switch have been tested independently and work.
So we have now come to the conclusion that we have somewhere in the wiring loom a non functioning cable.
I have search the net for a wiring diagram with no real succes.

Would someone on this forum has a PDFs of the roof wiring diagram ?

Thank you
Thomas

And the manuals we have consulted on the internet refer
to manually opening or closing the roof for emergency
but no wiring diagrams.

Try this ...

http://www.clarks-garage.com/shop-manual/body-03.h...

Scroll down to the bottom , theres a walk through on testing and repair , id start with the fuse/relay if its not working at all , the micro switches just tell the position.

Many thanks all. Workshop manuals are indeed terribly difficult to find.
Will try to post on Pelican parts as well.

Cheers

This has prompted me to look though some old back-up drives and I have found the workshop manual section that you need (Vol5), and which is missing from the (none the less, useful) site linked-to above.

These .pdf files are significantly larger than the versions above too (Vol1 is 58MB vs 10MB), with the required electrical volume being almost 23MB. It should be possible to email Vol5, but Vol4 electrical is 90MB...

Vol5, page 174/262 - Sheet 14 (wiring 944 Cabrio)! Took me ages to find this...

Email me through my profile if you want a copy, and tell me here otherwise I wont see it.
