Incase anyone didn't know / didn't notice / didn't care:

England play Wales on Thursday 16th June at 15.00 so will only clash with the support qualifying a bit so a good chance to warm up with a few beers before the main Le Mans qualifying beer

Friday night at 21.00 is Spain v Turkey which is something to watch in the bars in town after the parade. drink

France play on the Sunday night at 21.00 so you can support the hosts at the end of the weekend. beer

England play their last group game at 21.00hrs (french time) or 8pm UK time on the Monday so if you want to watch that you need to get home in a hurry or stop on route weeping

P.S. I prefer the years that coincide with the football but am fully aware many of you don't give a toss laugh

Anyone planning to cross the channel on Thursday and hasn't booked yet might want to get a shift on

Rumour from a mate was that the England v Wales game is being moved for TV, not sure where he heard this from but wouldn't surprise me,

Yeah I was worried they might move it as it happened in a previous tournament.
3pm, 6pm & 9pm are kick off times. If they move it to the 9pm slot (8pm uk) then it will start in the gap between day and night time qualifying so at least an hour of it will be on while the cars aren't running and depending on the weather/temperature the track is usually fastiest between 11 and midnight when more rubber has been laid down wink

I do also enjoy the years the football is on as well so...In previous years i remember a few people mention that the games are shown in the circuit on a big screen? Can anyone remember if this is the case where this is?

Previously we have cramped into the Stella bar but it would be good to have more options if arriving on the Thursday.

If the times change what are the chances of it being shown on a larger screen if it does get moved to a later time that clashes with the Qualifying

Think in previous years there's been a big screen in or near the Guinness tent but I haven't seen it myself as we take our own tv or watch it in town on the Friday.

at the risk of being stoned, I'd say that people are allowed to have more than one interest/sport...
