Report topic page hanging

I've clicked report on a few topics over the past couple of days and every time it hangs before loading the text boxes making it impossible to report any threads.

Thanks for reporting this.. Can I ask what machine, browser, Operating system and Skin you are using. I need all this information so that the dev team can try and replicate this fault.

Also If you can take a screen shot/ grab that would be a great help also

Interestingly I noticed it did it on a wiki page as well last night, it does it on any report page.

iPhone 6 Plus, iOS 9.2.1, safari

I've just spoken with the developers and it does run slowly so a bad internet connection would mean that this would hang slightly however good news the upgrade to our back end which is happening in the next month or so should alleviate this issue.

It does it on wifi on a 10mbps connection, ion lay on my phone not on a computer from the same network.

It's specific to iOS as far as I can tell though.. Although tbh I haven't actually bothered to look into it to see what's causing it.

Same issue with Chrome on MacOS here - and I can see it stalling during the DNS resolution phase.

The same problem occurs on some other special pages.

Hi Silent1,

Thanks for your feedback. Does the page eventually load? When I've tested it does load, albeit after about 15 - 20 seconds on a good internet connection(obviously very slow!). So if you need to report a post then you should, eventually, still be able to do so. I will investigate to why this is so slow - Thanks for your input marshalla.

PoleDriver - I don't know. Possibly it was missed off when developing the skin or maybe it was omitted to keep a cleaner design. I'll ask the team and see if I can get an answer for you.
