Hi all,

With the weather being so nice at the moment I was wondering if any other TVR owners would like to join me for a cruise to Bristol tomorrow (Sunday) and meet up with the Bristol region at the Golden Heart?

Let me know and we can arrange a time and place to meet.

Cheers, Shamus

It would seem like I'll be the only one coming up from Bournemouth then!

Thanks Dan and Nacnud, it'll be good to see you too - you can tell me a few stories from Duxford and make me feel even worse for not going than I do already!

(Cool video by the way)

Shamus,

I would have joined you, however I am in London and will probably join the "Surrey Run" on the way back to Poole. How about run out next month ?

regards

I now have a patent tool for getting to my keys . I checked I had it with me before setting off for the Surrey Run.

I am currently researching a route for a "Dorset Dawdle" and would like someone to assist - care to volunteer ? If so email me via my profile and we will arrange something.

If anyone fancies a Dorset Dawdle without having to do ANY organisation, there is a good one coming up on Sunday 15th September. It's organised by RPM Promotions for the Yeovil Rotary Club and it costs £30 something per car (all for charity). Starts Yeovil 9:30 and ends at Beaulieu in the afternoon.
Last year had a Cobra, Lambo, some Ra-ras, Porkers and a lot of interesting old stuff.
I'll be there in the Tuscan and some TVR company would be great.

Contact Simon Slade (Clerk of the Course) on 01935 424873 for details.

You can't be faulted on the rapid turn around though mate

...Oh and to the Dorset guys, were off to Donington next month instread of the meet at the Golden Heart, but I'm sure you would be welcome to join the convoy.

Thanks for an excellent day Bristol! Just read the report - very prompt! You mentioned in the report that the drive home would be "fantastic" - the weather was fine but suddenly I was disappointed with my exhaust note! How do you explain that?

Seriously though, if anybody hasn't been to a club meet before or are shy about going, go to a Bristol meet, they're the nicest bunch of people you could ever hope to meet!

So starts in Somerset and ands in Hampshire - Not too much of Dorset then - depnding on the route . I reckon I'm up for it though sound a good laugh and a good chance to bump into a few mates from Westlands.

I was thinking more of either a south coast to north, or a "Dorset Dawdle incorporating Durdle Door" coastal route or is that too many Ds ? Say Poole to West Bay and back ?
