Is this dodgy???
Discussion
I enquired why my wage was down this month. This is the response I got. Can they do this? They also didn't pay my on-call allowance for 2 weeks.

Further to your recent resignation and the emails below, I would like to confirm the arrangements in relation to your working hours and pay in December.
You will be paid this Friday 18th December for the days you have worked and any holidays taken during the period from 1-26th December 2015.
All further monies owed for December (27-31st December) and the days worked in January, will be paid to you in the January payrun, which will be paid on Friday 29th January.

Date of my resignation was the 14th Decemeber. I spent the first 2 weeks of December on-call, 1 of these has been paid and one hasn't. No P45 yet.
They will pay this weeks wage at the end of January however my work mates, who didn't hand in their notices got paid the full month on the 19th.

That will explain why they are waiting for the payroll run for the month of January - which, based on what you said, they will be running today.
If an employer runs a monthly payroll, if an employee leaves or has salary payable to them that runs to a point part way through a month, the employee really has to wait until the payroll run for the entire workforce is run and a P45 can then be issued to the departing employee. With modern computerised payrolls, it's pretty much impossible that a one off payroll calculation for just one employee can be done in isolation.
Of course, once the payroll run has been made, you should make sure that you receive your P45 at least as quickly as you would have received your monthly payslip. Employers can sometimes be very sloppy and tardy in issuing P45s.

My supposed pay date is the 29th Jan. All others I work with got paid the full December wage on the 18th of this month. Way I see it is I have been treated differently from my colleagues due to me handing in my notice.
If I just leave today and don't work out my notice and tell them to stuff the salary adjustment they made on this month do they have an legal recourse?
