I've currently got a power cable for the PS4, TV power cable, Amazon fire tv cable, an Ethernet cable and about 3/4 HDMI cables andnim looking to add a surround sound/sound bar next month.

What solutions or ideas have fellower PH'ers come up with to make those ugly black things look all nice and neat.

When mine was on a TV stand, I used cable tidies (like these https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B003CL6MVA/ref=cm_sw_r... ). Not the best but kept everything neat.

Now its wall mounted with the sound bar, all the wires are hidden in plastic box section in the wall which is easy to feed the wires through.

We put a false wall in, leaving a 6inch gap for cables. Cut out for the TV which is flush to the new wall, but swings out on a bracket for easy access. Not a revolutionary idea, some good pics on earlier threads.

We did it the hard way and got the cables chased in the wall, as the whole downstairs was being chopped about and replastered. Made a hell of a mess but it was totally worth it in the end!
