Yes to see some great cars, yes to see a great museum, yes to walk up the famous banking, yes to see the first purpose built racetrack in the world.

If it's dry, the turn out will be massive and it's a great start to the New Year, so yes, definitely worth it.

I enjoyed the day.

I've never seen Brookie so crowded when I've gone to the BMC, mini and other days.

I got there at 10am and was parked literally at the far end of the banking. Later in the morning they closed the gates and turned late-comers away.

Apparently a capacity crowd is expected if the weather is fine.

Did anyone see any Hillman Avengers ? My mate is restoring a GT. It must have been the only model not reperesnted.


ETA - I'm glad the twit who drove halfway up the banking didn't slide on the slippery moss - he'd have slid into some expensive cars !
