Mrs FiF watches this, I haven't advised her of the fakery involved. Like we've taken a loan of 5 grand to buy this boat and we have to do delivery jobs to pay it off. Oh shoot the hull is rotten, more faux dilemma.

The beardy bloke is worth best part of a million. All the kids aren't short of a buck or two either.

If you were living in the middle of a bear-infested forest, wouldn't one of the first things you did be to use the natural resources to build a palisade around your encampment?

That "scene" pretty much exposed the mythology of the program. Are we really supposed to believe that a family who were so "bush" they have their own dialect didn't consider the possibility of a bear (on what apparently is one of the most bear infested places in Alaska) may take a trip through their camp?

There's something rather incestuous about this programme.

Reminds me a bit of the Russian family who were discovered living alone in Siberia. Ultimately quite a sad story too.

There's a new series ! I hope they are actors , there's only the guy with the glasses who is approaching normal . I'd be surprised if the bears dare go any where near them if they really are that odd .

Oh it's still going, but not in Alaska now. It's one of my guilty pleasure series.
