Idiot question, but before I offend or poison some girl later, how long is white/rose wine drinkable for once it has been opened? Its been there a while, but has been in the fridge if that helps.

Errrrr it'll taste like absolute st if it's more than a day!

Not unsafe at all, just nasty to drink.

Probably 2 or 3 days if it's not been vacuum pumped. If it's cheap stuff it probably won't make much difference if it hasn't been pumped wink

It was cheap when it started and that was months rather than weeks ago. Time for some new bottles I think!

Let me see if I have this right;) you have multiple bottles of opened but unfinished wine your fridge for several weeks. Is this a subtle brag about not needing to try very hard when the girls come over? smile

As others have said it is entirely safe, alcohol is preservative but will taste awful/sour and only be good for cooking. Chicken poached in white wine or a mustard white wine sauce, both simple and easy.

Instead of bottles, try the boxes, since they let no air in they last perfectly well for weeks rather than days.

Not really... its more asking a question cos I dont drink the stuff and wouldnt want to poison one of the few women who do come round!

It fizzed when I opened the bottle. Dont think that is a good sign.

don't serve days-old wine to someone you're trying to bang FFS. Just go and buy a new bottle, or two... and swerve the blossom hill you cheapskate.
