It's been just over 2 years since GTA V was released and other than a rehash for the xbox one, PS4 & pc there has been no news of when the next episode or game is due. In the past we have received additional story lines based on the existing game whilst the new one is being developed but this seems to have dried up.

Has anyone seen anything that is in the pipeline?

With GTA V multiplayer still being updated with more content I think it will be a few more years before talk of a new one. GTA 5 is still played with multiplayer. I enjoy it.

I really want single player DLC. Multiplayer doesn't interest me in the slightest, and I've tried many times to get into it. But I guess that's where the money / demand is for Rockstar.

Shame, as TLAD and BOGT were really good 'games' off the back of GTA4.

This is exactly what I have been waiting for because I also don't play online, I thought that it would be a good stop gap until GTA 6.

I don't think there will be any story DLC for GTA V, just look at Online and how much money they can rake in, for people wanting the new cars and yachts and clothes etc

Why bring out story DLC which would be a one off payment when you can keep adding random updates to online and charge people to have anything (if they dont want to power though loads and loads of heists and missions to get the money instead)

It's a shame they've gone down this route, but I guess it's where the money is.

Its the state of the game industry at the moment.

Make a game for multiplayer is the main priority and everything else falls behind.

No great storylines anymore. One I miss is COD, and i don't mean the crap that is now.

I mean the COD WWII style where you had a sense of history, things were real and happened, you got to know characters. Long live Cpt Foley!

Must admit I thought the same with the new rainbow siege. No real mission as such, just offline option of the online maps.

It's the same with Battlefield too although I know that has always been a multiplayer game.
