Hello all,

Have any of you taken delivery of an M Car recently? What tyres did it come with? I have used the Michelin Pilot Super Sport on all of my previous M Cars and thought they were superb but keep seeing new M3/4s at the dealer on Continentals....

If mine arrives on Contis next week I plan on asking the dealer to retro-fit the OE Michelin PSS tyres before I will take delivery... unless some of you guys know that these are just as good?

Thanks

Bob

What kind of Continentals? The Sport Contact 6 is not long out, although even if they were as good, I doubt they'll wear as well.

My M3 was delivered on MPSS in November. However, my local dealer has an M3 in the showroom on Continentals.

My M4 was delivered with MPSS in Sept. There seemed to be a mix of both tyres around then. I noticed last weekend that the showroom M4 was on Contis.

I believe the tyre brand change coincided with the LCI update on the F80/82.

I got an M3 in mid October and it has continentals. They seem pretty good in the dry but not much traction in the wet (but this seems to be a general F80 issue) Will put MPSS on when they wear out. Had those before on an M5 and they were fab.

My friends M4 which he got about a month ago is on PSS and my M3 I got last week is on Contisports. They seem ok to me, wet grip included (comparing to my E46 M3 on PSS) but will be replaced with PSS when they're worn.
